From Tower Cottage down to the canal in Sowerby Bridge, this walk continues across fields towards North Dean woods then loops back onto the canal towards Salterhebble and then back towards the cottage via Skircoat Green and New Lane.

This route takes in cobbles, woods, the canal and the route over the top of Southowram to catch views looking back over Halifax. There is one steep hill from the canal bottom, via Exley Bank and Siddal towards School Lane in Southowram then you come back down the other side into Cromwell Bottom and then re-join the canal towards Brighouse.

This short but beautiful walks takes in the gorgeous crags in Hebden Bridge. From the car park you walk to Gibson Mill - in winter grab a hot chocolate and a local ice cream in the summer. Then take the top route over the moors, with views of Stoodly Pike and Heptonstall in the distance on the way back to the car.
